About
An independent jeweller at the windmill
Our workshop sits inside a converted windmill at Les Chenolles, a quiet landmark above the lanes of Jersey. The grinding stones are long gone; in their place are benches, gravers and a quiet sort of concentration. It is where every Catherine Best piece begins and ends.
We are a small, independent island business, and we make by hand. Designing and making under one roof means we can shape a ring to a single finger, set a stone you already love, or rework a piece that has been in the family for years. You deal with the people doing the work, not a counter between you and the bench.
